FAQ
Do you offer tanning trials?
Yes, we offer trials. If you’re booking a bridal trial, we strongly recommend having your spray tan done before your makeup trial, as a tan can significantly affect the overall look and color. We suggest scheduling your trial at least one month before your event.
Do you have eftpos facilities?
We have a a few ways of taking payment in salon. Through timely we offer tap pay.
How do I prepare for the appointment?
For the best results, please follow these steps before your appointment:

Exfoliation and hair removal should be done at least 24 hours prior to your tan.

Any beauty treatments such as tinting, waxing, or pedicures should be completed before your tanning session.

Shower just before your appointment to help remove any acidity or product build-up from the skin.

Make sure your skin is completely free of moisturiser, deodorant, perfume, and makeup, as these can interfere with the tanning solution and affect the final result. If not properly prepped, we cannot guarantee the outcome of your tan.

Avoid washing your hair immediately before your appointment to prevent residue on the skin.

Wear or bring loose, dark clothing—preferably cotton. Avoid anything tight or restrictive, as it can rub against your skin and disturb the solution while it develops.
Can I have a spray tan while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. Our products are organically certified and formulated for sensitive skin, making them gentle and hydrating. That said, we always recommend checking with your doctor or midwife first.
What do I need to know post tan?

For your first shower, rinse with warm water only—no soaps or body wash. Use your hands to gently sweep over your body and ensure all bronzer is rinsed off evenly.

Do not moisturise until after your second shower, as the tan will continue developing for 16–24 hours.

Avoid chlorine, saunas, massages, and intense exercise during the first 24 hours while your tan sets.

Refrain from wearing tight clothing (like jeans, tights, or gym wear) for the first 16–24 hours to prevent rubbing or patchiness during development.

Steer clear of products that contain SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and mineral oils, as these can cause your tan to fade unevenly or change colour.

Our tanning solution does not contain SPF, so remember to apply sunscreen if you’re heading outdoors.

Stay hydrated! Drinking at least 2 litres of water daily and using Bella Bronze Tan Extending Moisturiser will help keep your skin nourished and your tan looking flawless for longer.
